Tracking of Cardiorespiratory Fitness from Childhood to Mid-adulthood
2024, Journal of PediatricsThe tracking of active travel and its relationship with body composition in UK adolescents
2015, Journal of Transport and HealthCitation Excerpt :The data were summarised using means and standard deviations (SD) for continuous variables, medians and inter-quartile ranges for skewed variables (fat mass at age 17 years only) and proportions for categorical variables. Generalised estimating equations (GEE) were used to calculate longitudinal tracking coefficients (expressed as odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals and interpretable as coefficients of stability over time), giving the association between travel mode to school at age 12 with travel mode to school at all other ages (Twisk et al., 1996; Zeger et al., 1985). This gives the odds of a subject who uses a particular travel mode at age 12 maintaining that behaviour across the three time points relative to the odds of a subject who did not use that travel mode at age 12.
Influence of Placement of a Nutrition Logo on Cafeteria Menu Items on Lunchtime Food Choices at Dutch Work Sites
2011, Journal of the American Dietetic AssociationCitation Excerpt :Zeros were added to the data set where no sale took place. Generalized estimating equation analyses were carried out, with the work site as the unit of analysis (subject variable) (n=25) (24). The week was used as the within-subject variable and sales data per product category per week were used as the dependent variables.
