Unadjusted analyses: F2RL3 methylation=intercept + β (occupation); adjusted analyses: F2RL3 methylation=intercept + β (occupation) + β1 (age) + β2 (previous smoking); and full model: F2RL3 methylation=intercept + β (occupation) + β1 (age) + β2 (previous smoking) + β3 (passive smoking) + β4 (education)+ β5 (current residence).
*The residuals for methylation levels for CpG_4 were not normally distributed when comparing welders and controls and log transformation did not improve the distribution.
